Everyone has things that are broken. Then there are things that you don´t think of when you´re not using them and those items are tricky bastards to replace when they break down. For a very long time we had this problem with our corkscrew. Whenever we were someplace where we could get a new one, we forgot and every time we needed one we had to improvise.
Now we finally got a new one. Hopefully this one will last longer than our last screw-up. (I think it broke down after like 3 bottles...)
We tried this Greek wine since a great Alko employee recommended it. He also recommended us to leave it breathe from a few hours to overnight. We decided to try both and boy did it taste different. We tried our first glasses approx. 3 hours after opening the bottle and the rest of the bottle after 24 hours. I definitely recommend letting this particular beauty breathe for a day. It´s incredible how much deeper the taste was after 24 hours..
Try it with some Halloumi-cheese and/or rocket and voila!
We kicked it with some soy-burgers filled with halloumi, rocket, fresh tomato, mustard and organic ketchup! (Ketchup is soooooo different when organic. You can actually taste the tomato in organic versions)
